Key Responsibilities
General Ledger & Financial Reporting:
· Prepare and post routine journal entries for revenue, expenses, and accruals.
· Assist with the maintenance of the general ledger to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
· Support the monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes.
· Assist in generating financial reports for internal use and external compliance.
Account Reconciliation:
· Perform routine reconciliations of bank statements, balance sheet accounts, and selected income statement accounts.
· Investigate and resolve discrepancies under the supervision of senior team members.
· Ensure timely completion and documentation of reconciliations in accordance with internal policies.
Audit & Compliance:
· Provide support during audits by preparing schedules and gathering necessary documentation.
· Assist in ensuring financial practices align with internal controls and accounting standards.
· Support compliance with relevant healthcare industry regulations and financial policies.

Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field required.
· 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a healthcare or related industry.
· Understanding of GAAP and basic accounting principles.
· Familiarity with the healthcare revenue cycle or billing processes is a plus.
· Proficiency with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Oracle, Workday, SAP) and Microsoft Excel.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
· Effective written and verbal communication skills.

· Actively pursuing CPA certification or interest in obtaining CPA.
· Exposure to healthcare regulations (e.g., Medicare/Medicaid, payer contracts) is a plus.
