- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
- Prepare and position patients for imaging exams, following established protocols.
- Maintain accurate patient records and imaging documentation.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to discuss imaging results and patient care plans.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and regulations in radiologic procedures.
- Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Provide excellent patient service, addressing any questions or concerns regarding the imaging process.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with industry advancements.
- Current certification as a Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) is required.
- State licensure to practice as a Radiologic Technologist in Massachusetts.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a clinical radiology setting preferred.
- Strong knowledge of radiologic safety and imaging protocols.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient interaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.
